Anyone know where I can buy 12Ga Federal Deep Penetrator slugs in Canada? LGS says they cant get them. Cant find them at Cabelas, Wanstalls or crappy tire.

Other ideas?

Great slugs, I always get reliable gun to order them in for me. Send them an email, they can usually tell me straight away if their distributor has them in stock.

These slugs really hold together, i have shot them at 2X6 and it went through 5 of these.
 
Hello from Kingston. If you can't find any, I suggest Challenger slugs. Imagine a 547 gr. rifled slug at 1610 fps. I have used about 4 boxes in the last 5 yrs. and they will stop (dead in its' tracks) up to bear, moose and anything in its' size and weight. Also try some more feedback from CGNers. p.s. If you buy some, better also buy a shoulder pad (ouch!)
 
Challenger uses Gualandi style slugs, last I checked.

You can find Gualandi slugs being offered considerably cheaper by other, mostly Italian manufacturers like Fiocchi.
 
Canadian tire challenger slugs, almost no deformation when shot into firewood
I would do some research before firing them thru full choke or tighter
