Thanks for the replies, was just doing research for the future project that I would like to do. Thanks 50cal, I actually traded my Ruger for the SPS tactical (waiting for it to arrive). Can't wait to try it out...some reviews were half MOA or better, so not bad for an entry level tac with a basic stock.

Remington has not sold actions until recently. Brownell's had 500 for sale back in November. $499 US. By the time you import them etc. I found it was cheaper to buy a rifle with the size of action I wanted and then part out the rest of the pieces.

I ended up buying a 700 SPS for a little over $600 brand new. So you might be luckier in finding a used one cheaper.
