Anyone know where to find thread protectors?

Does anyone here know where I can find some thread protectors for threaded barrels? I don't have a silencer, loudener, or an attachment for shooting down police helicopters, so I just want a little thing that screws onto the end to protect the threads in case I need any of those attachments in the future.

Really easy to make if its a standard thread size, and a tap is available. Pain in the butt if the internal threads have to be cut single point fashion on a lathe.
