I went with a slip on pad. Does double duty on my Enfield. The sks specific ones are nice and all but I like the versatility (and cost) of the slip on.

If you can find a chicom surplus rubber butt pad it’s the best one out there, uses the existing screw holes and comes with longer screws. Adds 1” to the lop.

I use this one. It adds the right length for me. I like it. I had the 1" extension before and found it too long, the material too hard and the surface too rough for my shoulder.

I also have the same Tourbon - SKS a much better fit with it on.

I actually bought mine on ebay, slightly less expensive. They (tourbon-safari-shop) ship really fast. I bought from them 4 times and they all arrived in about 2 weeks. I always made an offer and paid less than the listed price.

I bought my slip on pad at Walmart. Allen brand I think it was. $11 maybe?

Fits my sks and Enfield great. Nice and snug, yet not so snug that its a pain to get on and off as it's a pretty stretchy rubber that its made from.

I have 4 of them sitting on my shelf right now, with the screws. They are by far the best and fit Chicom and Russians perfect.
