anyone know who carries .222 Rem mags?

i assumed they would work, thing is, its for my FIL bolt rifle, that i think the scopes mounted over the data stamp so i don't even know the exact make of the rifle, i guess i'll get one & if it doesn't work i'll use having the mag as justification to the wife for buying myself an AR lol, actually anyone got ideas on how to take off rust without damaging the mag? i've read to use oil & not to...
 
222 and 223 use the same mag, just like 7-08,243 and 308 us the same mag...............
now clips are a whole different world..........

You'll be fine with the 223 mag..........
