Anyone load 2 or quad loading their mossberg 930?

Any load 2 or quad loading their mossberg 930. I have been trying it out but I think this is where the versa max's huge loading port would come in handy.

Yes. I opened up the bottom of the receiver and cut back the fore-end to make it easier.

I load 2 on my 930. Haven't modded anything yet either. I do plan on opening up the loading port and welding the lifter but haven't had time.

How did you open it up? Did it make a noticeable difference?

I was working on load 2 with my 500, and found it just wasn't smooth.

bought a versamax, and returned the 500 to my dad.

Literally a night and day difference. I found it a lot easier to do weak hand load 4 vs. load two in the 500.

Ya that's what I was afraid of. I need a new shotgun.

How did you open it up? Did it make a noticeable difference?

With a die grinder and a Dremel. Cutting back the fore-end made the most noticeable change.

the fore end doesn't really need to be cut back IF its a new gun. They all seem to have the same fore end as the JM Pro now.

Cut my stock back and opened the loading port up. Just have to see about getting the lifter welded up and it should be good to go!
