Anyone Looking For a 14" Remington 870 Barrel?

Pud at Bashaw Sport has a whole case of them, so 20 barrels. These are the Express barrels. 780-372-4440 $225. I know guys are looking for them for their builds.
 
I have a friends 870P with a 14'' cyl bore sitting in my safe at the moment. I checked out of curiosity and it also has the cap detent.
 
I'm not sure there is a distinct 14 inch Express barrel. Largely because there's no real market for them in the US, PD's are the largest consumer, and may run both "P" and "Express" guns due to cost. I have 2 barrels sitting in boxes that are marked 870 XBL - 12/14 Cyl - PL EXP. Both are matte blue with pedestal beads and mag cap detents. I'd assume from that "PL EXP" that the barrels are the same for Police and Express guns. The part number on mine is 80056. Gravel Defence Division lists the part as "LE Only".

They just started making the Express 14" barrels for the TAC-14. Police 14" barrels are Mod choke and parkerized, unlike the blued Cyl bore Express 14"barrel.

Most police barrels are Mod, not all. I’ve had a parkerized 14” police barrel for well over a decade that’s Cyl marked.

Always thought it would be a good candidate for the Vang Comp treatment.
 
Mine just came in today :) Definitely not a Police barrel but good enough for me :)

I'd take one but I called and I guess they are closed and I don't see the barrels listed online??

Hmmmm .... this thread won’t go away and I can easily see a safe starting to look like a broom closet full of extra barrels.
