Anyone on CGN use/shoot 22LR "squeeze bore"? 22 to 20 or 22 to 17?

This has just come to my attention. Dude's are getting 22LR chambered barrels that are squeeze or squish bore down to 20 or 17 caliber. Of course it's a USA thing but surely a gun nut has done it? Thoughts? Experience?

The Littlejohn adaptor was a device that could be added to the British QF 2 pounder (40 mm) anti-tank gun. It was used to extend the service life of the 2-pounder during the Second World War by converting it to squeeze bore operation, improving its ability to penetrate armor.
Perhaps a muzzle squeeze bore devise like the Little John?

Sounds interesting. I think a .17 would be too much, but the .20 sounds reasonable. Just need a reamer with a long and gently tapered leade. Gain twist could also help.

This is not a new idea and it doesn't appear to achieve much that's positive for .22LR shooting.

I know! Which is why I was all "ok, that's cool, I wonder how it works"
They were pretty accurate from what I heard. Velocity were high too. But be interesting as 22LR doesn't have much case capacity, so curious the loss in velocity they got and not squib.

I know some Airguns have choked muzzled. But they also use way softer lead.
