Anyone out there know anything about 627 S&W v v comp

I had one for a while and liked it. Like every firearm, a lot depends on your end use. Originally I had thought of using it for IPSC competition. Fast reloads are difficult unless you find very good speed loaders. I tried rubber ones that didn't do a good job. Loading 8 rounds requires precise alignment. I had similar problems with moon clips. The only rounds that would load reasonable well were lead round nose; others would hang up. If you want speed, good speed loaders are available but are costly and you will need six of them for competition.

Otherwise, the gun was excellent. It's super easy to be very accurate. I had several types of grips and liked the Jerry Miceluk models best.
