Hey i just bought a NEF .223 single shot bull barrel and was wondering what a good load is? Hopping someone out there could point me in a good direction for bullets and powders. Thanks

The twist rate will determine your max bullet wt. and depending on whether you are using heavy or light bullets, this will help determine powder choice as well.

Posting the twist rate could help others help you.

Edit: Chances are it's a 1:12 which will limit you to the lighter 40-55 grn bullets. Powders such as Hodgdon 322 and Benchmark work well with the lighter bullets. I have had great accuracy with the hornady V-Max 50 grain bullets in both my 22-250 and on of my .223's.

Check out Hodgdons site for recommended powders and loads.
