I really dig the gear John Perkins makes at 21st Century Shooting...very well designed and excellent quality.
I own thier neck turning lathe, cocentricity guage, primer pocket uniformer, flash hole debuting tool, and couple others.

Has anyone any reviews on the 3 way trimmer (that fits into the neck turning brackets) they released about a year ago?

Bumping it back to the top of the Reloading threads. Hoping that someone who owns one of these units may see this post and choose to share a comment/review.

Thanks,

Mike

I have one of the lathe type neck turning tools, didn't add the trimmer though as I already have 3 trimmers, and it took a tool changeout to set it up to operate as the trimmer. I went with their neck turning tool as they have a nice selection of cutters, and a fully adjustable tool. Just that with having trimmers already, didn't need another one, and I like an all in one tool setup for that. I picked up a Hornady trim/prep centre, trims, chamfers, primer pockets all in one. Between that and the lathe neck tool, I have enough of the right tools to make things easy for myself. If I was going to buy a dedicated volume trimmer these days, I'd look at the Henderson, really well thought out tool, still doesn't do primer pockets though.

I have one and it works pretty good, not gonna lie the neck turning lathe head I really like the tri way cutter is good but I find that it only works best when taking off .003" or less lol.

Tried the the Frankfort arsenal last weekend, the platinum one with the trimmer built in with different collets for different calibers... it works way better for taking off up to .010"
