Hi!
A guy in my area have one for sale, and this concept appeals to me badly!
Any opinion and comments about these shotguns will be appreciated!
The guy want 1200$ and it come with an extra rifled barrel (80% of turn twist) and severat chokes.
Regards,
Eric

You have to be a sucker for punishment. A sub 5 lb. 12 gauge is going to kick hard no matter what load you use, and that extreme light weight is going to test your gun handling skills, you are going to need to use your fingertips to guide this gun. But then, all French guns are unusual in one respect or another. If you want the ultimate in light weight, this is it.

Bretton has a good reputation for quality, and they command a decent price. If the gun you are looking at is in good shape then the asking price is not out of line, especially with an extra barrel. (Slugs in a 4.8 lb. gun? shudder) The Shootist in St. Albert has a Bretton on the shelf for $1,600 plus tax. I am not sure, but I think it may be a new gun. Here's a pic:

These guns appeal to me as a fascinating technical exercise. Shooting it may be another story, whatever you do, don't take it out in a strong wind, you'll lose it!
