Anyone own or shoot one of these?

Indeed; one's that inspired a fair bit of envy, I may add...

Thanks. There's absolutely nothing wrong with a CZ. I wanted to buy one with a synthetic stock but ended up with the Sako. Too bad Tikka doesn't make a .22 at a little better price point.

I agree. At least on a CZ you can adjust the trigger yourself and the kits are easy to put in instead of them doing it for you.

Actually, the 504 trigger is quite easy to adjust. The info is available at Rimfirecentral. I have both the CZ 452 American, and one 504 Sporter, with a 504 HB on it's way. My 504 will shoot rings around the CZ, and the CZ is quite accurate, so I'm not worried about buying a HB version. Regards, Eagleye.

I am not a huge fan of the stock 504's as from what I have seen they are quite hit and miss (having said that I have never actually shot one and sometimes when you hear a guy says that his gun doesn't shoot that great it isn't necessarily the gun ;)). However, I do really like the fact that Lilja makes a drop in barrel for this model, which is really nice and if there ever was a problem with accuracy I can definately see this fixing it. I think i would buy one, keeping in mind that if there was ever a problem with accuracy it could be fixable.
