Anyone running a short barrel 10/22 takedown?

Since there aren't many aftermarket barrel options, i was contemplating the idea of shortening the barrel on my 10/22 takedown and I was wondering if anyone else had done the same thing. i was thinking somewhere between 12 and 14 inches and i would also like to keep the iron sights. Post up your pictures if you got 'em or share your thoughts/experience on the idea.

It's against the law to shorten a barrel to less than 18 inches.

Well that's no fun. I though that rule only applied to centerfire rifles.

Center fire semi auto minimum is 18.5 for NR
Any rifles minimum to be not prohib is 18 inches

Has to be factory made for short barrels

Of which we haven't seen any for the TD in Canada yet.
