G'day all,

Just wondering if anyone is aware of any outfits in Canada selling Glock OEM spare barrels. I'd like to find a threaded barrel for a 19x.

Not looking for aftermarket at the moment as I want to stick with the polygonal rifling, not concerned with shooting cast bullets.

I'm sure I can get either Rampart or IRG to bring one in, but wanted to ask around first as I'd be happy to support anyone that's already gone to the trouble of bringing them in.

TIA.

never seen a gen 5 barrel for g19x threaded in canada. you will need an aftermarked one or someone thread it for you.

irg will not have the canadian version and rampart ... well good luck but they will answer. we re now in for 3 years to get the g45 ...

other solution is getting a gen5 g17 barrel cut it at your lenght and thread it as well ...

good luck on your project.

i ve been looking for a while for a good canadian g19x barrel not threaded ...

FYI For the 19X Gen1-4 19 barrels fit and work just fine, I have 3 different gen 1-4 19 barrels I run on my 19X with no issues (Agency Arms, Lantac, Zev)

I also have an OEM Gen3 Glock 19 threaded barrel and it also fits and works fine in my 19x

Its the gen5 17's that require Gen5 specifc barrels not the 19/19X, Gen1-5 19/19X barrel lugs are the same

So if he can find one a Gen 1-4 OEM Glock 19 threaded barrel will fit his 19x just fine

If you go on a maufactures site like ZEV you will notice they list their 19 barrels as fitting Gen1-5, and their 17 barrels as fitting gen 1-4 and then a new specific 17 gen5 barrel for gen5 17's

There won't be a Canadian version... the G19 Canadian version just has a very slightly longer barrel to not be prohib, a threaded barrel adds more length to have room for the threads in front of the slide so it's a non-issue.

Thanks for the ideas though, cutting down and threading an OEM 17 barrel might be a good compromise if I can't find one.

Thanks Johnny, there's a lot of disagreement on the various forums I've read about what gen parts will fit on a 19x since it's in that weird gen 4.5 space. I appreciate hearing from someone with direct experience.
