Anyone shoot 6.5 Lapua?

Just curious on who the odds of having to Bush the firing pin are. Will be shooting this calibre very shortly and trying to get ready

Just purchased my first 6.5x47L rifle. Going to be using it for short and mid range F class shooting.

Had it out to the range today for the first time. It is amazingly accurate with very litle recoil. 100M groups were in the .3"s with smallest of the day being .247"

Rifle specs:
PGWDTI Coyote single shot
29" Kreiger 1.25" straight tube
McMillan F Class stock
All smithing by Steve at PGWDTI
Schmidt and Bender 12x50 PMII
TPS medium steel rings

Gun weighs 20.6 lbs as shown

Favorite load:
123gr Scenar
42.0 gr H4350
Remington 71/2 primer
virgin Lapua brass

awesome looking rifle

I shoot mine with the following loads. I only shoot 140 gr bullets to 1000 yards in competition. 140 Berger's, 40.3 gr H4350, CCI 450, Lapua brass. Load bullets to .020" Usually anything from 40.0 to 40.5 works well.

I shoot usually a rifle very similar to Prairieguy's.

I just received my RBROS 6.5X47 three weeks ago. Shoots awesome with 130 Bergers, 42.2 gr H4350, CCI 450, Lapua brass. Gun has a 26" Broughton AMU contour, 4 port defensive edge Brake, Manners, Defiance (Rougue action) with a NF NXS 8-32X56 NPR2. Wish I knew how to post a pick. Drives the 130's at 2930 fps right now. Travis from RBROS says it should settle in closer to 2980 with a few more rounds. I have only shot it 100 times. Performed great out to 815 yds. Farthest I can get to at the range right now.

Mine shoots one hole at 100 yards, 130 Berger vld's 10-20thou off and 36.1 from of varget. 205m primers. It's good past 400, but I didn't measure groups. I'd say 1/2 Moa at least. I like the 47 so much that I'm seriously thinking about selling my 6.5x284. I'm just not sure I can consciously let it go.

I have a 6.5x47,

Remington 700 action, Shilen select match sendaro contour 1:8 twist.

It shoots everything very well. 123 scenars, 139 scenars, 130 vlds are my current favorite. For powders Varget, h4350 and N550 are all great performers. I have just picked up some reloader 17 to try as well.
