Anyone shoot 6.5 Lapua?

Have any of you 6.5 x 47 shooters' tried the 130g JLK or 130g Bergers? I have been reading that they work well in this case? My understanding is that you can drive them around 2900fps and they have a pretty good B.C.

I tried the 130 Bergers and they shot good, just the 123 Lapua's shot exceptional right off the get go. No doubt with a litle load development the Bergers would have been just as good.

Here is my new 6.5x47.

Shilen Select Match barrel finished at about 27"
Remington SA trued and firing pin hole bushed
Cadex stock is borrowed from my good friend who had it lying around in his basement as my Whidden stock is caught in ITAR limbo

Anybody got any recipes for 140 gr Bergers and either N150 or H4350?

I have three 6.5x47 Lapua chambered rifles and they all shoot the same loads well under 1/2 MOA with the 123 Scenars and IMR 4007 ssc.
All get used out to 1000 yards without any real issues. Now if only I could read the wind conditions as well as the rifles shoot I would be laughing all the way to 1st place wins.

Seriously..... who has a Cadex just lying around in their basement? Sure looks good though! I'm very jealous!

Who did your work for you?

Hee. Sorry for the crappy cell phone camera shot.

He is a very good friend who happens to have a whole gun room in his basement. I would show you pictures of that, but the level of gun #### is definitely NSFW.

The gunsmith was Rob Steele out of PEI, who has always done excellent work for our crew.

Unfortunately, my rings are too short for my Nightforce to clear the long rail on the Cadex, so I've got a fixed 10 power in a Larue mount on it right now. I am keen to see how it groups while I'm breaking the barrel in tomorrow assuming it doesn't lash rain too badly.

Just purchased my first 6.5x47L rifle. Going to be using it for short and mid range F class shooting.

Had it out to the range today for the first time. It is amazingly accurate with very litle recoil. 100M groups were in the .3"s with smallest of the day being .247"
