Going to my first "formal" shoot tomorrow, so far just clays up in the field with the neighbor. Looking forward to it but a little nervous about making a fool of myself, tho in most circles I don't have a problem with that lol

It's a very good shoot for people just starting out. I've gone to their shoots several times and these aren't breakass competition targets designed to humiliate anyone but the very best shooters. Go out and have some fun. No one takes it too seriously.

It will be targets set as a "hunters clays" shoot. Nothing over 40 yards and a good pre-season tune up. You'll have a good time. All the targets are hittable but no one ever gets 'em all. Average shooters with minimal clays experience can shoot 60'S - 70's

It tends to be a "in your face course" nothing too far. Lot of fun, always well thought out. Good bunch of guys. If I lived closer I would be a memebr

Well, first time out I shot a 70, which I rate as not bad. Fun course, good people, couple juniors were good to see. I would definately try it again

I took my 13 yr old son out to his first time shooting "formal" clays with his new Sx3 compact 20 gauge and he shot a 66. I was surprised he figured out the leads as well as he did. He said it was like deflection shooting in "World of Warplanes" :p. Maybe he's not "wasting all his time on his laptop"?
