Anyone stipple thier RFB grip areas?

I was looking at stippled glocks when I was thinking about the grip areas on the RFB. As they can't really be changed I thought that this would be a great way to add some texture to the grips.

Stippling wouldn't be done by melting! I've seen a really nice job done on a custom build where the owner stippled the grip area of the buttstock and forestock with a fine awl / heavy needle. A couple of thousand light stabs and a bit of patience was all it took. The wood swells around the impact point creating a rough surface for a better grip. I would imagine the same result could be achieved with a polymer grip / stock.

Why not do what I did to my Sig?...

It is a dimond flake anti-slip coating that a local gun smith did for me. Doesn't matter if your hands are wet or if your wearing gloves this handgun never slips in my hand.

Spray on bed liner from Lordco worked on my SL8-PSG stock conversion. The thread is in the stickies at the top of this section, "How I un-thumb holed my SL8 stock".

After I did the grip, I still had a bunch left over (I bought the sheet) so I put some on the cheek rest as well

Not wanting to mangle up the grip on the carbine, I just followed another members lead, and put on a rubber slip grip...

why dont you just put a hogue grip on it so you wont lose on resale value?

yup, i actually had 2 of the DS RFB's... i sold both
