Soooo...........ummm..........if they are so bad in combat, why the U.S. issue Beretta's?

Can't be that bad.

If you read into the pistol trials for the US army. There is plenty of dirty dealings surrounding the decision to choose Beretta. SIG pistols actually won the competition. Due to SIG not wanting to give up rights and establish a plant in the US, they were rejected.

Other than big green, who else in the US mil uses Beretta pistols?? Delta are known for their 1911's, as are Marines. Navy SEALS generally run SIG's. Keep in mind that most soldiers receive minimal training with handguns. We fight with rifles for a reason.

hmm never heard that one before...they do have a plant in the US...People seem to forget that back in '83 Sig was just a prototype and early models had a problem with frames cracking...Beretta has been around since '76 and was a better gun of the two.

but I think that's enough hi-jackng for one thread....

To answer the OP's question, it doesn't look like too many people here own one so if you want one get it and let us know what you think of it. :)

Does this imply that you haven't sold ONE yet? I think the price point ($600+) is mighty crowded with Glocks, M&P's, CZ's etc that are proven and have tons of possibilities for customising etc.

But if you want to move them, how about a CGN special? :)

Now there is some positive thinking ?? Do you really think we would import something that does not sell, give me a break....

I was replying to a legitimate comment and making an offer, we are alway anxious to see what folks think of new products....

All of the months of testing and evaluation do not mean much until you have several hundred out there among our customers....

I apologize and promise not to offer "special" deals if they are only going to draw negative comments and cast suspition on our intentions.

In the computer world, we call those USER ERRORS. Emphasis is placed on the USER, because the USER is the one failing to manipulate the firearm properly.

lol sorry, but the iD-10-t error comes to mind :p

Suspicion? Geez John, your intentions were and are to sell neat guns to Canadians at very reasonable prices. I'm Mr. Marstar as far as championing your business on this forum.

I just had the (probably erroneous) idea (from your request for feedback) that the guns in question have been gathering dust on the shelf, not because they're poor in any way, but because they're an unknown quantity that costs the same as the established makes. I'm glad you're proud of your operation, but if you could be a teeny little bit less defensive...:)

Hi John, Sorry I haven't called yet. I will make a call here in the next day or so. I have just been working a long string of 12 hour shifts. When would be a good time to call and get a hold of you. What days are the best to call?

SGT ROCK;
ANY day is as good as any other....
I'm in the office from 8am to 4pm, at least, Monday through Friday.
Look forward to hearing from you
John

Sorry to bump a three month-old topic, but I'd be very much interested in knowing how well this gun handles.

On a side note: There's a typo on the TISAS index page.

Our no hassle warranty policy played a major role in the producer=s decision. We therefore do not hesitate to extend our warranty to cover the TISAS line of firearms.

I don't mind editing that quote out after you've seen it. "Never happened", etc.

I have a Tisas and really enjoy it. The slide safety rotates the firing pin and acts as a decocker. It shoots well, eats any factory ammo well and has easy to manage recoil. My only issues with this pistol is the grip and that with smokey ammo the satin chrome finish around the port holes gets dirty fast. The grip issues could be solved with the addition of a simple hogue type grip wrap. If anyone out there knows what grip sleeve fits the Tisas I would appreciate it.
