I’m trying to mount a scope on my 512 but I can’t figure out these scope rings.
The instruction say there’s a front and a rear ring. The rear is suppose to have a “recoil lug” that fits into a notch on the scope rail, but as far as I can tell both rings are identical and I don’t see that recoil lug on either ring. Is there a way to tell if there different?
And I’m not sure how tight to make the rings. Instructions say 65 in/lbs for screws that clamp onto the rail. But for the rings it just says tighten evenly. It doesn’t give me a torque spec.
Any advice is much appreciated
