Anyone try the Hornady .224 88 g ELD Match in 223

I've been curious as well, however, it seems like 1:7 isn't going to be enough, you may need a 1:6.5 for them to stabilize well or push them really fast. When I started looking at the 88's playing with Berger's twist rate calculator I figured I would need around 2900 FPS in a 1:7. Could be wrong its been a while. I think 223 AI or 224 Valkerie or 22 Nosler (too bad this is dying a slow death.)

On Box of 88gr Hornady says 1/7 tried some on Tues this week at 100y 5 shot groups Barnard S with 1/7 twist 5R at 30.5" light jam shot best, I was quite amazed then jumped them 15K man did they open up.
