I have read the article on The Load, using Red Dot with lead bullets in milsurp calibers. I plan to try it with my Enfield and Yugo Mauser once I find some 8mm cast bullets. I also have an M38 Swede Mauser and wouldn't mind trying it with lead and light loads, but the 6.5x55 is not mentioned in the article and is somewhat smaller than the cartridges listed in the article. Has anybody tried it with Red Dot, probably starting with a lighter charge than the 13.0gr. listed in the article?
