Got mine today, so obviously i ran out and tried it!

Pretty sweet gun, about 32" OAL. (12.5" barrel)

I had a problem actually firing it.
After going over the gun i have come to realize what the problem is.
Im not 100% sure in shotgun terms what the slide lock is called (assuming thats right?), so that what im going to call it.
If you play around with it you will see that the slide lock does two things. Locks the slide, and makes the trigger NOT work when the slide lock is not fully engaged.

If you look at the long arm(1.5" long?) on it that mechanically locks the slide, you will notice that it is basically flush with the mag lips on the inside.
When I put the magazine in the leaver becomes hard to move (sometimes impossible to move fully forward, other times require manually moving it forward as the friction on the mag is much greater than the spring).
I can also see the wear mark on the mag right there to confirm that the slide lock lever (on the inside) is dragging on the mag.
With the lever not fully engaged (as the mag is either blocking it from engaging or keeping the spring from doing its job) the trigger will not function.

I dont have time tonight (and probably not tomorrow), so Friday i hope to take it apart see if i can bend the slide lock lever a hair more, or remove some material from the little dump that is punched into it allowing it to move towards the side of the receiver a bit more.

The gun dry fires fine without a mag, but with a mag in the slide lock lever does not move properly and it will not dry fire properly.
Note, DONT #### it then put the mag it, as the lever has already seated so it will function fine. You have to put the mag in then pump it (will have to hold the mag follower down so it thinks there is a shell in it so you can slide it forward again).

Anyone else having the same issue?
It seems like a pretty minor problem, the lever just needs to be moved towards the side a hair more. Just wondering if anyone else has the same problem and what you think/will try.

Sounds to me like you're describing the last round bolt hold open, which is normal.

Im talking about the slide lock that locks the slide/action closed (ready to shoot)
The last round hold open is simply the mag follower getting in the way of the slide closing.

Ends up the end of the little tube that has a cir clip on both sides broke off. Im not sure if this is related to my problem, but I now need a new trigger group so hopefully that will fix the slide lock lever problem.

Well i got my trigger assembly back, new little tube piece installed in it from can am. Ends up it was just the tube that the two pins holding the trigger assembly into the receiver go through lol

The new tube piece seems longer than before,(has room to slide side to side slightly), and requires jamming it into the receiver to get it to go inside of the receiver, it scuffs up the one side of the trigger assembly pretty good( it shaved off a bit of aluminum), but i can get it into place.

Sadly this still did not fix my original problem of the slide lock lever (on the inside) rubbing on the side of the non original magazines.
The original magazine the gun comes with works fine, but the extras are all wider (with use of a caliper) and rub. Being limited to one magazine is useless to me.

My father got his the other day so i tried his trigger assembly in my gun and it functioned fine, so im thinking its not that the magazine is not centered in the gun (or the likes), but that the slide lock arm is too big (or something to do with the trigger assembly anyway).
My trigger assembly also caused problems in his gun.
His gun functioned flawlessly right out of the box.

The dimple on the end of the slide lock (dimple rides on the inside of the receiver) was a hundredth (of and inch) wider on mine than the other trigger assembly.
0.01 is not much, but there is not much room to start with in their so im hoping that its the root of my problem.

I was able to get the dimple within a thousandth of what my fathers is,did not seem to help.

I will see if I can swap slide lock arms in the trigger assembly, then i would know if its the lever its self, or that the trigger assembly is slightly different (maybe fitment?).

Anyone else having a similar problem?

Ended up comparing the angle that the slide lock is (parallel to the longer side of the trigger assembly) and noticed that mine was angled different than my dads. Took a bit to get the bend just perfect, but now it works fine.

Grabbed my 3 mags and put 15 rounds through her, *awesome*.
