Not sure where else to post this.

I've got a gen 1 RPR with an OEM keymod handguard and I want to swap to the gen2/3 M-LOK handguard (not interested in the aftermarket Midwest/Seekins options). Hoping someone with a gen2/3 has upgraded theirs and has their OEM one laying around collecting dust. I have exhaustively searched google for one and I cannot find an OEM option with the exception of a gen 1 keymod version.

Please shoot me a DM if you've got one that's collecting dust!

I had the same problem with my gen 1 rpr. I wanted a handguard without the top rail. I ended up contacting Snap Shots and getting them to get me one of the newer ruger handguards. should be here next week.

Taxes and shipping will probably depend on where you are. It took about 8-9 weeks for them to get the parts in.
handguard - $265.00
handguard bushing - $29.95
handguard nut - $36.50
handguard screw RPR - $6.00

The flat base on that area handguard would be way more stable than the stock one. I hate my keyword HG on my RPR, too easy to roll on a bag. Curious to hear your thoughts on that Snap Shots piece

I received the new handguard and got it installed. It's a couple of inches longer than the original keymod version. fit and finish look good although there are some sharp edges that I think could / should have been rounded off before finishing it. It does require changing to the new barrel nut and bushing for mounting. takes no time to switch them over. It will be easier if you have an AR barrel wrench ( I don't have one so I wrapped the nut is several layers of hockey stick tape and used a pipe wrench) and a large open ended wench. In the end everything fit properly, the barrel is centered in the handguard, and i gained almost an extra 1/4 clearance so i can switch to a scope with a 50mm objective without having to switch ring height.
