I picked some up and was thinking of trying it in my .22-250 with 40gr Nosler Baltips.

Just wanted to see if anyone has tried it and what I should expect, it seems popular with the .204 crowd.

From my new Alliant Reloaders Guide it shows 35.5grs of reloader 10x with 40 gr Speer SP, Remington brass and CCI primers at 4164fps and min OAL of 2.235. However it does not list mins or maxs just what they call load data (not sure if this is the max.). I use 10x in my 204 and get 1/2" groups with it.

Good luck.

Reloder 10X works best at close to max working pressures. If you load "down" with it, it tends to deposit quite a bit of hard to remove fouling in the barrel and throat areas. It is usually quite accurate at the higher pressures, so should not be an issue. I am hoarding a supply of the now obsolete Reloder 12, which I prefer to the 10X. Your results may vary.
