Anyone use Ballistic FTE for the iPhone ?

I am. I haven't done any crazy distances, but the drop rates from 20, 50, 100, and 200 yards are dead on from my experience and it can calculate the most factors that could affect the ballistics from ballistics apps I've seen. It's a little time consuming though the first few times you use it to get the data ready. Which I think iSnipe is a bit faster on, but I am very happy with it. The HUD (for once you have the data already set up) is incredibly handy for doing quick changes though.

i have ballistic on my phone and it is accurate, they all are, it is only math. it does a lot of things, one thing that i do not like about it is the fact that when you change to a meter display it applies this to all cartidges. i also have bullet flight which i like better. it allows you to input in metric or standard measurements for all units. it does everthing that ballistic does in a platform that i feel is more user friendly. it does spin drift and coriolis as does ballistic. as well it has a mode that they call "simple" which is basically the same as the HUD on ballistic. get em both, and try em. total cost for the 2 is only like $50. relatively cheap in an expensive game we play!!

The big question is what kind of BCs it relies upon..

The big selling point for isnipe that many don't realize is that it incorporates Litz' G7 BCs, making it much more accurate.

that is also another plus for bullet flight over ballistic, bullet fight uses litz numbers, where ballistic uses manufacture numbers. although the bullet flight program uses the litz numbers, it does not show you the actual value...this was done at the request of bryan. instead of showing the bc number it just displays "litz". i have the book so it is not of concern to me

Ballistic FTE edition, atleast, does allow you to use G1, G2, G5, G6, G7, and G8 ballistic coefficients.
