anyone use hogue overmold stocks?

when i was in minot yesterday i saw an FN Herstal PBR rifle. a winchester style action with 20" fluted barrel and olive hogue overmold stock, chambered in 308. it gave me inspiration in deciding on components for my 700 custom project.

the rifle is nice. if i had a twinkie it would have been creamed.

anyway, has anyone used a hogue stock? can you use bedding compound on them?

i have a houge overmold on my 10/22. if you like it which I do it is great. For a high power rifle get the overmold stock with the aluminum skeleton which supports the action in the right spots etc and is rigid. shouldn't need to worry about the glass...
