I traded this rifle away last year knowing it was a pretty good shooter, but later repented of my wrong doing and bought it back.
It is a Remington SPS in 270Win restocked with a Bansner High Tech. Currently it is scoped with an old B&L 3000 in 3x9. Dennis Sorenson did the bedding and trigger and checked over the rifle for any problems that may affect accuracy. I think he does great work.
I decided to start some load testing for it this spring, so literally threw together some loads to sight in the scope and get me on the paper. The bullets used were some bulk WW 130 Power Points I bought a few years back, but never used. They were cheeeeep! I planned on burning a few of these and then proceeding into my stash of ass't Noslers I have here for the serious testing, incl some BTs and ABs.
But my, do these cheepy bullets shoot! I'm not sure I will be using the Noslers, for a while anyways.
