Anyone uses Tasco 3-9 x40 World class scope?

I'm thinking of picking one up (basic model) for my .22 are they any good?

Bought one a few years ago to put on a cheap, beater .22. The lenses were so yellow you would think someone pissed on them. Very blurry as well.

Would never use another on anything.

X2!! :puke:

I had one fog up in the rain on the first day out on a hunt away from home. It cost me shipping both ways, duty and taxes, as the scope was purchased new in the States. I sent a letter to which they ignored and I take EVERY opportunity to share the experience with others.

The best part about buying a Tasco is the warranty replacement policy. If it breaks, they send you a new one.

It's not a matter of if, it is when it breaks.

Mine was always changing point of impact no matter what rifle it was on.
Don't do it!!!!!!!

Save a bit of coin and get a decent one. Even the little Weaver 2-7 I have isn't too unreasonable for price and has taken many thousands of rounds without a glitch, ever.

so I'm guessing Tasco MAG scopes are no good too?

I'm also looking at Bushnell Sportsman 3-9 x40 (72-3940) between Tasco World class and bushnell which one should I get?

Sorry man, I wouldn't touch that brand ever again either.
The one I had the power ring started "skipping cogs" in no time from brand new.

Aren't I a ray of sunshine today? :)

At bare minimum I stand on my little weaver 2-7x32. You won't regret it!
