Anyone using XSSights on their M14's?

Yes, came pre-installed on my rifle.
IMHO, I would not choose them. The illuminated element tends to fall out with prolonged firing. (Yes - I know that they are easily replaced with warranty). I personally feel they are more about the LCF than about actual funtionality.
Swiching mine out with an NM front and rear sight set.

Hi..
I have a set as well and they also came with the rifle.Up close they are fast and easy to see but you may struggle when the range opens up.I much prefer the standard width GI site but it is to short for the 16" barrel, so Im tempted to try the higher NM.
My tritium insert has not fallen out ..... and I hope it dosen't.

I have several m1a/305s wearing xs sights....high round count through a couple with no problems yet. They are for sure a close range sight....I find them difficult to use well past about 150 yards. That being said, for night sights its either the XS sight or the Smith Enterprise dot style.
