anyone wanna take a newbie varmint hunting?

If anyone near Durham Region wants someone to tag along on a varmint hunt send me a PM. None of my friends or family hunt so I'm basically learning everything on my own. I have a small game license, 12ga., .22 lr, and I just got an electronic predator call and speaker off ebay. Now all I need is someone to show me the ropes of varmint hunting, (and my pregnant wife likes it better when i hunt with someone else, as long as its not another woman )

If you expect to kill that predator after you call him in,you had better get a 22 centrefire of some sort or maybe a 243.22LR just wont cut it.

the scattergun with some buckshot will do for close shots.

I was planning on using the 12 gauge with some buckshot. My 22 is mainly for plinking. Maybe if Santas nice to me, I'll get a .270 for Christmas, but I doubt it. I've been a bad boy!!
