Hey everyone, I got one of these shotguns from corwin arms, and has served me well all waterfowl season. However it's the end of the season for me and I'd really like to take it down and clean it up. But I can't get the bolt handle out to remove the bolt. I know that you need to line things up in the bolt but can't seem to get it right. Can anyone who owns this shotgun give me some advice? Thank you very much!

Most bolt handles are held in by a detent ball and spring you only need to pull straight out on the handle to remove it .there are exceptions like the Browning silver 20 ga where you must depress the shell stop to release the bolt handle . no manual came with the gun ?

I have one, it is hard to pull it out first time. You need to align the slot on the bolt and pull it out first time best grab it with pliers. The round slot must be aligned so you can pull out bolt handle

I've tried pliers with rubber to protect the metal. Tried pulling with the bolt head pushed in at different amounts to try to get it aligned, no success. Guess I just need to pull harder? I was hoping I wouldn't have to scratch up the handle...
