anything special about low serial # TT?

Few months back I got a non refurb TT-33 from SFRC, anyways its stamped 1945 production, with serial number 9xx. Anyone else got a low number like that? I dont think its valuble or anything like that just weird. What are your thoughts?

Believe that the serial number is restarted for every year of production... ...not sure that there is consensus as to the letters and numbers used in terms of a recognizable sequence.

Probably the only "collectible" Russian TT33 would be a first year or TT30/33 transitional gun.

Yeah not expeting it to be collectable, just curious. As I have two 33's one is #9** and then the other is #M202**.

No, I think a non-refurb wartime TT-33 in Excellent shape with two matching mags would qualify, but the chances of finding one thusly described is pretty low. ANY TT-30 is collectible IMHO.
