You can have AP rifle rounds but as to who makes them in .22-250? Absolutely no one. If the bullet diameter is .224 you could load 62gr green tips, which is probably as close as you'll get. M995 bullets are unobtainable to my knowledge.
Steel tip. M995 is a full tungsten core. I would have bought a few from that gun show just to add to the collection, why isn't there ever any good stuff at the shows I go to?I did see some M995 for sale at a gun show years ago. Very very small amount being sold as a collector item with a price to match. Green tip is a Nato standard bullet that is considered a improved penetrator and not a full on AP projectile. It has a small (17gr. I think) tungsten tip. It is a 62gr. bullet with a painted green tip for idendification.

Then again you never know if the dude's a scumbag and just dipped regular 55gr rounds in some black paint. Unless it came in the factory box and thus proving the provenance I'd probably pass.Ya I'm kinda kicking myself now for not buying a few rounds when I saw it. There never seems to be much of any cool stuff at the local gun shows here anymore.
