Does anyone know of a business in Canada carrying the AP Custom L2 or L2/4 shotshell holders?

Thanks

Thank you for the replies. I'm looking for a faster way to reload my pump gun, and I'm done fumbling around in my pocket, or on the side saddle, or off a belt... I want to try the Load 2 method, it looks slick and much faster than what I'm currently doing.

The AP custom gear looks really well made, I am open to checking similar gear from other companies, so thank you to those who posted alternates. The challenge is trying to find the right product, without the chance to touch, try and compare, good thing the EE exists! Thanks again.

I used to use carbons arms for load 2s. They worked great. Only complaint about those is that they tend to turn if bumped but are easily put back into place. I recently tried out a friends invictus 2.8s and love them. Great for throwing quads and you can still do load 2s from them. Needless to say I ended up ordering a couple along with a DeTurk vest.

I love my AP custom holders - load 2 and load 4 methods are way faster than any other method out there, and pretty easy to get the hang of with a bit of practice.

You modify them? I tried for a while to keep them from dropping shells. You definitely can't go prone without losing a few and if moving too fast I would lose a few shells. I see some guys modified them with heat shrink tubing but once I got the Carbon Arms pin wheels I never looked back.

I haven't modified mine, and will occasionally lose a shell or two going prone, but I always carry a few extra on the belt for just such an emergency.

I do plan on looking into the heat shrink tubing to see if it makes a difference, but honestly have never really had a significant issue with retention.

I have AP Customs and am not happy with them. I made a low rent mod to them using shrink tubing and it did partially solve the problem. However I still drop shells for various reasons and would definitely select one of the other options available now. I emailed AP once asking for help and showing them my shrink tubing idea. I never heard anything back. In just the past year, quite a few other products have come to market and are favoured by many.

Peacefrog, where are you located? The best way to see which system you like most is to try them out. Most 3 gunners are more than happy to meet at the range and let interested folks try stuff out.

If you are in southwestern Ontario shoot me a pm and I can let you try out the AP custom holders for yourself
