Has anyone tried to remove the permanent pin on the APC's?

I realize this was some stupid import requirement to prevent the installation of a full auto receiver but there is no law stating we can't pop it out once it is our possession.

I was thinking of ordering in from B&T new pins as the hinge "looks" like the same as ones used on the GHM9. I'm just not game to cutting off a pin on a $4000 rifle for funzies in case the ID of the hinge is somehow different.

Whatever you do, keep me posted.
Would love to pop that pin out when cleaning the rifle.

Cleaning, working on internals, barrel... it's freakin annoying.

I'm going to send B&T an email as well. Even if the pin is not replaceable, I'll look into making one on my 3d printer if the GHM9 one doesn't work.
Another option is a fastener supply house. I can access custom fastener orders through my work if needed.

The pin on the apc lowers are over sized so they can not be replaced. I have BT apc front sight pins and they are to skinny (same pin as ghm9 and apc)

I removed mine and had a good buddy make me an exact front sight pin copy but the candian oversized size.

I have 1 spare pin left.....

Somehow I knew you were already over this lol.

Good to know about the oversize. That answers one of my questions.

PM sent.
