Just finished gathering my impressions of the Apex Atom red dot for those who might be looking at one:

I just picked up an atom with the weather shield cover last month for my Mossberg 590a1 and love it! 3 reticles, 4 min sleep/off with shake awake and battery slides out the side so no removal of the cover or optic to change battery. Put about 80 rounds with optic on and holds zero no problem.love that its a local product as well. Great glass!

Nice!, also its rmr as is, you need an adapter for a pic rail if thats going to be needed, they sell them for 30$ or can source one somewhere else
