I received my copy yesterday, from Mystic, and just started getting into it. What an amazing book! The math is dead simple, and the explanation of Ballistic Coefficient is amazingly clear. Not only that, but the book includes some ballistic computing software.

It's dead simple - just a parabola, well sorta... plus a few inputs like gravity, wind, air resistance, air density due to temperature, power from ACCURATE handloads, BC, and that other thing...what was it? Oh yeah, the guy pulling the trigger...

I'm a total newbie myself and found it to be a very good read. I got mine last Thursday from Mystic and had it read by Monday and I am not normally an avid reader.

I didn't know I could've been a rocket scientist, the book really makes it easy to comprehend the bullet, how BCs are determined, ballistics etc. Not finished with the book yet but learning lots... the author has done a great job with the book for the Average Joe.

Absolutely! Not a lick of calculus, just simple algebra.

There were a couple of funny comments as well, like how if you use a chrono to try to calculate the velocities at various points on the trajectory, eventually the chrono is going to get nailed! Anyone nailed their chrono?
