I was thinking of applying for moose by phone this year, however I know I am not going. The book tells you that if you are not going to apply for unit 99 or something like that. I dont have a book here so I thought I would do it by phone. How do I apply by phone for a unit that doesnt exist so I do not recieve a tag knowing I am not going?

Just finished reading the Moose section and applying for our group.
Page 35 of the 2009 regs:
Submit a paper application and apply for WMU 99Z (does not exist) or
Submit a paper application and leave your choice of WMU and firearm blank.
No mention of telephone application for this type and there is no WMU 99Z listed in the Moose draw hunt codes.
Why not try the telephone application and see if it accepts 99Z ? Worse case, you're stuck with a paper aplication this year.
