Approx value of original C no7 Mk1 wood case - Lee Enfield .22

Hey guys and gals, just thinning out the gun room a bit and found this old rifle case. It is labelled

'RIFLE EQPT . CAL 22 C NO7 MK1'

It looks to be original, and has all the hardware as well as the blocks that secure the rifle in the case.

I have looked around, but cant find any of these being sold anywhere. Does anyone have an idea what they are worth?

Pretty common item. Worth about $80. It’s the sniper ones that command a high price.

I just bought 2 for 100.00 in about same condition

It would be worth a fair bit more if you included the No.7 and EIS in it

I miss out on these all the time.

The ones I have seen for sale, range from $50-80, depending on condition.

I'm alway's a day late or a dollar short as the saying goes.

Now that I have a C no.7, I can't find one

The problem with the price on wood cases is the shipping cost being so high that I suspect only local people would buy. In my case, I'd love to buy ~12 but the cost of shipping to the west cost means I keep passing on these.

I have passed on a few for this exact reason.

Sold one on kijiji for 100$, sold in a few hours. People being able to pick it up rather than ship it seems to increase the value a bit.

Last one I sold was for $100. The Member was about 60 miles from me, so I got another $20 for gas, and a cup of coffee with a good conversation.
