Hello everyone
Do you guys know what would be a fair price for Zastava LKM70 in 30-06, 270 or 308?
They are not imported into Canada anymore, so any idea as to what would be a fair price to pay for a second hand one in excellent condition?

Paid $525 for a stainless in 7x64 new.
Sold my 7x57 blued for $500 this summer.
They are hit or miss on the quality, the stainless was way better then the blued one I got so dumped it.

That is more than fair if it function perfectly! And if there is no issues with it

That seems pretty high to me; they may be “scarce” but they are nothing special

Seen a few sitting on the e.e for close to the last retail price for a lot of bumps…

Compared to a lot of the horrendous garbage being produced and sold for a lot more money than that these days, I'd say 750 is fair as long as it has no issues. If you're patient there are better deals to be had tho. They do come up for cheaper quite often.

I had the same experience; my example was a piece of garbage. Easily the worst example of a Mauser 98-pattern rifle I'd ever owned. I would have been far better off buying a used Husky than the one I had received.

On the other hand, I handled one in 8x57 at the range, and it was much nicer than mine, decent blued finish, much nicer wood, apparently correctly drilled screws on the receiver, smoother action, far less slop, no pitting on the extractor, and the floorplate fit. Apparently that one didn't trash cases on ejection or have problems feeding, either.
