This ones over for another year. I still haven't figured out how to post attachments in this thing. Pretty well attended Saturday but a late rain forced cancellation of the 900m after getting a little wet at 800.

Sunday the wind was bizarre. Great fun for those who stayed. You could have heard the whoops for joy in Calgary when someone actually shot a Vee on the small target at 900 in that stuff. Insane!

Thanks to Cyanide and Obtunded for making the trip over. Always lots of laughs with you two. Thanks to Carbonrod and Dan for coming out and giving F Class a go. Hope you had a good time and will come back for more.

We're hoping the snow holds off long enough to get the 300m Sierra Match in 18-19 Oct. Depending on confirmed attendees, might only go on one day. I'll try to keep you informed

Cheers, Glen

Hey Glen,

Congrats on the win! Those were some scary shooting conditions at 6-8&9!!! As usual my guts hurt from the fun!

I will be there for the Sierra so save me a nice warm place to put my mat!

Great shooting Richard, and it was good to meet all you flat-landers. Henry remple was a card - as usual, and as always we foreigners were treated like royalty by the good folks at Homestead.

Really enjoyed the shoot, and glad to see the two out from BC. Hope to see you guys back. Homestead is a great range, and it was a well ran match.

As a first time F-classer(sort of) with my 308 hunting rifle, it was still a bunch of fun. The whole every shot is indicated is godly when it came to figuring out the wind.

Hey Glen,

Congrats on the Win.

It was a great shoot, too bad we couldn't do the 900m relay on Saturday but I had a good time nonetheless.

I used this shoot as a great learning experience. I learned that I need to learn to read wind better :D (and shooting for the mirage in 30Km winds is not a good idea LOL)

It was good to meet carbonrod and spend time in the butts with him and the others.

I wish I could make the Sierra match but I need to get stuff done here at home before the snow flies.

Here are the results:

Thanks guys, even an old fart gets lucky once in a while.

I'm glad everyone had a good time. My guts are sore from laughing too but my shoulders are worse from pulling them damn targets up and down. Huh! And, I never got compliments either. Richard sucked up big time and got them all. At least with that much wind blowing, it helped disperse the bubonic fumes from his bum. We have to do something about his "gut bomb" diet, the noise is distracting when you're trying to concentrate. When you're laughing so hard, your eyes tear up and you can't see. Or, maybe that's the plan

Can't wait til the next match. It's always a blast with good people around. Thanks for posting Richard, now tell me how to do this.

Cheers, Glen
