We're already here... where are you???? The Appleton's is gone and we're choking back Fripp's Bacardi Amber. The horror!

Got 800 zero's and we're rarin' to go

I stopped up to say hi to a few of the guys and watched the 300 and most of the 500 stages.. short spurts of rain , shifting winds and a mix of sun and cloud... good luck to everyone there...

All things considering, not too badly ... alternations between rain and sun. Only question I have is: why does my relay attract more rain than the other???

23 shooters out today, 4x TR, 5x F-TR, 11x F-O & 3x Factory class. BC is trying hard, but Alberta seems to be enjoying the home field advantage, taking 1st & 3rd in F-O.

How's the Snow Shoot going? :)

You guys should have been at the ceremonial target face changing and work party after. Some rain, some sun, then more rain, then more sun. Apparently I attach target backers with the same precision I used with a 308 Rem 700 and 16x. OK, so fire me. Old Guys get cranky when the afternoon snooze is foregone.
All in all a good fun day, wetness aside.
It is pleasing to see so many new faces. Gives a person hope for the future.
Cheers, Glen

Holy, freakin' mirage! The effect at 900 after some benign treatment at 700 & 800m will cause some residual memory scars!

Day 2 had 16 shooters (1 left early due to illness) - 4x TR, 3x F-TR, 7x F-O & 1x Factory shooter. F-O was contested and BC took 1st & 2nd, with AB 3rd. Some moderate (justified???) accusations of sandbagging were made, but in the second day Agg, BC took 1 & 3rd and AB 2nd in F-O.

Good shooting all! The Alberta Provincials are June 25-27. Hope to see you there (and the bridge is doing quite well this year - no washouts!).

Gunsmoke: Not too far off the mark! Today was a Palma match, 7-8-900, and mother of Gawd! That range is damned near impossible to second guess. switches of up to 6 minutes between shots, voodoo-like vertical weird stuff. Eric B and I were High-Fiving when we managed a "4". Look out world, I think Eric is one of the rising stars in the F-Class world and he is a very talented shooter. What a great pleasure to shoot with!

My hat ges off the the AB boys for hosting a fantastic shoot! It was so great to meet so many of the fellows I have corresponded with, and it was never a dull moment. Yep, BC managed 1st and 3rd, but it was close. WIn-Lose-or draw, it was a great time!!

Shockman, I have soiled myself, thanks alot. I am basking in the peace and quiet, and the pleasure of not having to yell everything ...

Mahatma Taylor... Thanks... I have cramps!
