I'll see you there Glen. I won't be able to do any practicing beforehand so don't expect much from me! Regards, Bill

Great Bill. I won't be much of a threat either. I still haven't learned to quit messing with things when they work, so I'm remodificating again. I had planned to have a good load for this thing and I'm on the right track, minus the side trips. I just hope the barrel lasts til I find "the Load".

I'm now trying the "Cosmic Spirits Karma" developement method. You know, dream up a load while sleeping, then load up 120 and shoot a match. The Kamloops results shows me that accuracy judgment from testing and measureing holes in paper isn't the best approach either. Now, where's the damn Weegee board.

Cheers, Glen

Sounds like a good system to me Glen. I don't know why the method isn't used by more people.
I won't be using the de Frippulator at all for this match. It's next outing will be at Kamloops next spring. This will be a Model70 only match. Regards, Bill.

I will be there Glen BUT only in spirit, as once again, I'm on-call 'til the 19th :(

I wish I could but I can't. Best of luck to everyone and I hope the weather man is correct for you guys! He says :stirthepot2: Mainly sunny with wind W 10km/h in the morning Temp around +2 C then changed in the afternoon to SE 10km/h with Temp around +11 C. Sunday says 14C wind SW 5km/h, sounds like great shooting weather for October on both days!

I have shot that mountain alot on the lower range (Rosebud) and I can say a West is not a good wind and probably the hardest of them, it rolls over the mountain causing switches from right to left (probably more so at RB down in the flat) so you have to pick one L or R and hope you don't get caught... and a SE wind is so so, since it is from behind you or over your right shoulder... not too bad... but the EAST wind is the very best and most readable of them all at these range, plus you can see it coming and there is not alot to deflect it  The Homestead ranges faces NW to NNW and the public range faces WSW

Once again I can not make it but wish I could.
Let's us know the results eh :)

Well, it's over. The weather couldn't have been better. Sunny, warm and lots of those nasty little switches and verticals Homestead is famous for. We used the 1/2 minute Vee's for F class and 15 shots and the scores sure showed it. A lot of the F Class "F" guys using 155's got pretty beat up by the nasties. You know, the ones you can't see no how. At Homestead there's lots of them. TR's shot the standard target for 10 shots. 20 shooters and lots of laughs. We had to use competitor marking, so target service was quite the topic for discussion.

The Best Comments included "Where the hell did that come from" and "Geez them guys are slow" on the line and "Where the hell is that hole" in the butts.

I still haven't figured out how to post attachments on this thing so if you PM me I can send the Results that way

Cheers, Glen
