April Purchases

Well, technically these are February - April purchases, but I haven't had them on hand to take pictures until now.

First up is a 1944 Shirley No.4 Mk.I(T), all correct I purchased from a board member.

Next a 1917 Oberndorff Gewehr 98 - kinda rough, but no Turk markings. Looked for one of these for 8 years!

Then a 1917 Rast & Gasser 1898 in absolutely great condition - you know, as ugly as these guns are, the fit and finish is just remarkable.

Finally, and I may have posted this one already, a 1919 RAF-marked 1911 in .455 Webley.

Still to come: Martini-Henry Mk.III and a MAS M1935S pistol.

My belgian 12g sxs Liege shotgun, i sawed off the barrel down to 18 1/2inches, it was a 28inch barrel but i got a pretty good deal since the barrel was bulged about 6inches from the muzzle, i got it from trade ex and it shoots great...

Yep, as I said, UN-ISSUED. Actually, I bought two unissued Lithgows this month, but flipped one in the EE last week as I didn't need 2 of them ;) The other was a 41 that looked unissed since refurb, but this 45 is NOT a refurb - it's factory fresh.

M213

I baught this one in March. I received it in April

It;s my first pistol ever. Some might argue that it's ugly but i really like the commy firearms looks!

Bought me a K31 from Trade Ex... plus dies, brass, and a Mosin accessory kit. For $265 I really can't complain.

The butt actually doesn't seem all that damaged. It's not pristine by any stretch but at the same time I won't feel bad for taking this for a walk in the bush or for a deer.

Amazing, I'd love to get one of those in that condition!

My wife said..."What's in the big green box"?

Bought from Hercules in about 1969.
Complete with Beautiful Mk3 scope all matched up.
Box looks like it has been repainted at some point, and the rifle appears unnissued.
