This has probably been covered before . However I bought some of this a couple of years ago thinking it might be a excellent bullet to knock down .22 Steel Rams in Silhouette Shooting. I did not find any of my 22 rimfires that would shoot the 60 grain bullet well. Some even tumbled the bullet at 25 yards. I tried also to use a 1-9 twist Savage barrel to see if the faster twist rate might make them fly well. Physics suggests the reason being that a regular 22lr barrel has not got a fast enough twist rate. The centerfire 1-9 twist Savage barrel was not tight enough to support the bullet. I gave it a try anyway. I later ordered a 1-12 twist rimfire barrel which proved to be an excellent answer to accuracy and stability.
Now for the odd part---I have tried these 60 grain Aquila SSS in a number of single shot Cooeys and they all shot them very well. Not like a target 22 but within the limits imposed by trigger weight and pull I was impressed.
So just to pass it along if you have any of this Aquilla 22 SSS ammo and an older Cooey rifle,,give it a try . You will probably be pleasantly surprised.

I tried them in the Henry lever, They keyholed. Ruger 10/22 not great accuracy. Old to 17 Russian target 22 shot them well. My kids little badger shot them well as well. I will take the out again soon and take measured groups

I have an SSS 9 twist build... it is "minute of grouse-head" accurate @ 50 and "eyeball" accurate @ 20... which is what it was designed for.

Dormant thread alert!

I have shot them through various long barreled rimfires with dire results.

Today I tried the 60gr out of my Norinco JW15A-13 and they shot like a champ, a really good group at 25 yards with no evidence of key holing. They seem to like short barrels over long barrels.

To bad the op didnt get back with his decision of choice with a range report if any.
But, the silence is deafening.
