Hi Im kind of new and i was looking for a decent rod and brush (In Canada) for my dpms lr 308. Right now i just got the traditional snake but I am looking for a better setup ex rod guide, a nice rod and brush. Everything i found that was decent didnt ship to Canada. Any help thanks

Fyi, AR-10 is only the Armalite .308 AR-type rifles. They are not compatible with uppers/lowers from any other manufacturer's .308 AR types. They use different mags, BCG, barrel extensions, etc. Ditto for Rock River Arms LAR-8 series. Whole different set-up, mags, parts, etc.
The .308 AR's are not even remotely standardized like the .223 AR-15's.
As for cleaning kits, you can probably just use an Otis kit, or any other kit with 7.62 brushes, etc.

I know our SR-25 bore rod guide and the Mk11 Dewey Rod works in AR10's and DPMS etc patter guns, they may not be compatible from parts etc, but a .308 barrel, chamber and upper receiver are all pretty much the same size...
