About the only thing you might want to consider is one of the enhanced extractor spring systems.

I would get a bolt that is particle tested . The bolt is stamped "MP" . A wise choice is the upgraded extractor. I would stick with your stock bushmaster because its already "fitted" to your barrel and if your having no problems why change.

No, its just a booster spring that goes underneath the original extractor. Cheap.
Check Brownells website for different options.
Get your rifle out to the range and shoot it. If it ain't broke, don't be fixing it.

Best to keep it as it is, if it works good. Until you're a pro with the firearm and can outline it's deficiencies from a markman's standard, there's no point in "upgrading" mechanism parts.

Btw, nifty paint job. I only have the OD furniture on my subcarbine. Thought about doing what you did, but changed my mind in lieu of keeping the recievers original. I may do a graphic alteration to the handguards and stock, though. Mix in a little brown to break up the monotony.

You should buy a second bolt and start an emergency parts kit, for example buy all those roll pins and springs that one so easily loses.

That is some of the best advice I have seen in days. I carry a full bolt and carrier with me just in case I have a problem during a service rifle competition. Why try to change small parts when one big one will do.
