AR-15 Butt stock on AR-10?

I have an Armalite AR-10 that I want to eventually set up as a long range rifle. I have a Armalite A2 Stock left over from a previous build and I was wondering if the AR-15 stock and buffer tube/buffer will work on an AR-10?

Stock and tube will work, but the different scaled mass of the BCG requires different buffer and spring to my knowledge.

No. Wont work. Ar10 armalite a2 tube should run ar10 a2 buffer. Not ar15 a2 buffer. Its about .5 inch shorter.

yes.....and spring. You can use any AR-15 buttstock (magpul....etc)

The rifle stock and rifle Buffer tube are the same. The spring and buffer are different.
